Casimir Balthazar fonde le domaine au début des années 1920, et achète la parcelle des Chaillots en 1931. Le domaine, dirigé depuis 2002 par Franck Balthazar, est en culture biologique depuis 2010. Tous les sols sont travaillés à la pioche et au treuil. En 2013, il acquiert une petite parcelle de Saint-Péray, située sur des argiles sur socle granitique. Les vinifications sont classiques : uniquement de la vendange entière, une fermentation courte en cuve béton. Les élevages ne connaissent pas le bois neuf. Nous aimons le style des vins du domaine, qui exprime avant tout le terroir, sans aucun artifice.

Le Cornas Sans Soufre du domaine Franck Balthazar possède un joli nez de fruits murs et d'épices douces. La bouche est fraiche et ample sur des arômes de cerise, de mûre et de violettes.

RETURN

You may return any item that you would not be fully satisfied within 7 days of delivery to receive a full refund. This includes the cost of returning the product.
